Danielle Jurinsky - Aurora City Councilwoman and Business Owner
A real estate agent and successful business owner based in Aurora, Colorado, Danielle Jurinsky was recognized as one of the Five People to Watch in 2025 by Westword Magazine. In addition to her real estate career and entrepreneurial endeavors, Danielle Jurinsky has been a councilwoman for the coty of Aurora since 2021.
Ms. Jurinsky is a former United States Air Force veteran. She got out at the rank of Staff Sergeant. She served in Security Forces and Munitions between 2004 and 2013, overseeing field training, base security, and munitions building, among other responsibilities. Since 2015, she has been the owner and sole operator of several bar and restaurant locations under 5280 Saloons. In addition to daily operations, she oversees ordering, inventory, budget balancing, and payroll. She currently owns two locations in Aurora. Danielle sold two other locations to former longtime staff members.
In 2017, Danielle Jurinsky joined Homesmart Realty as a real estate agent. In this position, she is responsible for commercial, land, and residential sales. She was named a Top Producer in 2020.
Ms. Jurinsky became a councilwoman for the city of Aurora, Colorado, in 2021, and is running for re-election in 2025. Away from work and her responsibilities as a councilwoman and a mom, her hobbies include paddleboarding, Pilates, hiking, and attending concerts. She also supports the Aurora Animal Shelter.
